The Most Trusted and Honored…

This tasty little graphic comes directly from CNN.com:

Bragging by CNN

The reason I posted it is this: Yesterday CNN decided there was no news to report.  Indeed, at a certain point in the day, they stopped reporting T. J. Holmesthe news and began to air reruns of “Larry King Live” (gag!) over, and over, and over ad nauseum.  (Until 4 o’clock mountain time this morning, I believe.)  This might lead one to believe that nothing happened in the world yesterday.  AnywhereAt all….  How can a network be considered “the most trusted and honored name in news” when they can’t be bothered to do their job when it’s a holiday?  They had some poor fellow (presumably on the lower end of the CNN food chain) who popped in from time to time to give a brief synopsis of the headlines and reassure us that CNN would break in “as news warrants”.  To his credit, I’ve provided a picture of the poor guy who ended up getting the “crap duty” on “The Most Trusted and Honored” yesterday.  His name is T. J. Holmes (I think).  And he deserves a medal for filling in for all the lazy-ass CNN “all-star” ne’er-do-wells on Christmas Day.  Way to go, Mr. Holmes!  May you soon be rewarded with Wolf Blitzer’s job.  (Honestly, I mean that.  You’d do us all a favor.)

Maybe CNN should start calling itself “the most trusted and lethargic“?
