I wasn’t watching, so I have no idea who was wearing what. And who gives a shit, anyway?
I did some peeking around the Internet this morning and confirmed my suspicions.
The moonbat-ocracy totally dissed Clint Eastwood after his great work on two notable war films this past year. I don’t think there’s any doubt that that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ dismissal of “Letters From Iwo Jima” had everything to do with their political distaste for—nay, hatred of—the concept of war in general, and had nothing whatsoever to do with “artistic merit.” (Their condescending attitude toward veterans is another thing altogether.) Fear not, however: They tossed Eastwood a bone by giving one of his flunkies an “achievement in sound editing” award….
The notable quote of the evening (in my mind) was from Ellen DeGeneres:
If there weren’t blacks, Jews and gays, there would no Oscars.
Uh huh. And what the hell is that supposed to mean?
GROUP HUG!
Oh, and Al Gore got his “nod” for foisting global warming on the unwashed, unsuspecting masses, too. That must have made the night of celebratory moonbat mutual backslapping complete.

Clint Eastwood wasn’t the only one to get dissed….

Then they went home, put on their footie jammies, had a cup of hot cocoa, and went night-night.
The end.
