Update 2: From FrSIRT (French Security Incident Response Team): “Troj/HackerD-AO is a Trojan for the Windows Platform. Troj/HackerD-AO is a stealthing program and is used to hide other programs, ports and files from the user.” Maybe that was what happened?
Update 1: It’s back up now. I did a Google search on the “HACKERD BY THE RED BUTTERFLYS” stuff, and got a lot of hits. One site I found had all its content replaced with the same message. One security site mentioned a virus called “HackerD,” though. So maybe that was what happened.

Does anyone know if Newsbusters was hacked?
I was reading a post on Newsbusters.org earlier this morning and everything was just fine. (I think—but can’t be sure—that I was reading something about the Bill Maher-Huffington Post stuff.) Then I checked again a few minutes ago and the page loaded, but there was no content (posts) on it. I started to wonder if they’d been hacked….
And then there was this:

Note: It came back up for a while, but the internal links seemed to be broken. Now it’s gone altogether—just the old 404-redirect page showing.
