My brother Greg in California just moved into a “new” house in beautiful San Luis Obispo, California. I say “new” because it’s new to Greg and family. The house itself, I understand, was built in the ‘50s, so it’s not really new.
I’m heading out to California with my mother and father today to visit them and see the new house. My brother Steve will be coming down to SLO via Amtrak from San Francisco, so the whole family will be together for the weekend.
It’ll be the road trip from hell. Mom and Dad like to take the “circuitous route” every time we go somewhere. Ergo, we’ll be on the road for roughly a day and a half getting there. (I’m not really a big fan of long car trips.
) The last time we went out to California, I think we traveled about 11,000 miles just to get from Phoenix to Santa Barbara. Urrrg….
Anyway, I’m taking a digital camera and intend to post some road trip photos over the weekend.
Road trip music!
That was one of my favorite songs when I lived in San Jose in the ’70s.

Where’s my Bebop!?!?!?
Hey, Little Kochu.
Sorry I took so long to answer, but this was the first chance I had to log onto the internet. I guess Steve isn’t going to get here until this evening.
We got here about 2:00PM yesterday, and we haven’t done much yet.
I have to take a shower and get ready to go.
I’ll send you an e-mail later and post some pictures.
