So the New England Patriots’ regular season is over. They’re perfect—the first NFL team in history to win every game in a 16-game schedule. And now the boys from Foxboro can move on to the serious business of trying to win Superbowl XLIII.

Last night’s game was outstanding. The New York Giants sensed the historical gravity of the moment and came to the stadium ready to play some ball. And play they did—at one point the Pats were down by 12 points.
But Tom Brady, Randy Moss, and the rest of the Patriots came back to win the high-intensity game by a score of 38 – 35. And in the doing, Brady and Moss eclipsed Manning and Rice to earn season TD passing and receiving records.
But that’s not all. This year the Patriots set an incredible single season scoring record of 589 points. That’s something the entire team can be proud of.
It was a remarkable moment in the history of American sports.
