ORIGINAL POST: Who exactly is Brandy Priestess–that crude Internet banshee who has been dropping racist bombs all over the blogosphere lately? The most notable of her screeds was a flaming racist rant she E-mailed to Michelle Malkin.

Well, Malkin published the entire E-mail on her blog, including the E-mail address, so yesterday I sent this harpy a simple E-mail to see if I could lure her out. It worked. I got into a brief exchange of E-mails with her, trying to find out who she was and what the heck her problem is.

In one E-mail I said:

I simply pointed out that the comments you made to Malkin were very, very racist in nature. The language was quite possibly the crudest I’ve ever seen on the internet.
Interesting that you feel comfortable earning your $$$ by making sensational, obscene, and racist remarks.

To which she replied:

Aren’t you’re tired of being lied to and played with? I am! I’m trying to make a change the only way I know how and that’s with my films. I don’t have all the answers, hell, I don’t even have 2 answers.
Remember I was born into this insanity just like you.

Then she brings up the race thing:

I wanted to have a voice on race, because I watched 4 bi-racial children in my own family treated like dirt by society and some of their own family members. My little nieces and nephews are my heart.they’ve had a hard life, because of their racial background. I hope my film will bring them and everyone that see the film a healing. People like Malkin is what helps to create this type of racial negativity and her posting my fake rant proves that.

I tried to keep a level head and try to impress upon her one more time that her methods and language are totally inappropriate. I brought up the fact that my son is bi-racial (half-Korean) and that her anti-Asian rant in the Malkin E-mail insulted my son, insulted me, and insulted every Asian-American who read it:

So please understand that I get pretty darned sensitive when I hear people saying racist things about ANYBODY. Period. And you have to admit that you wrote some nasty, nasty stuff in that letter to Malkin. I mean really nasty. It was crude, obscene and even pornographic–all at the same time. Have you had much practice? Sure sounds like it.

And then I asked her about the background of the bi-racial children she referred to in the earlier E-mail. She responded thusly:

My bi-racial family are Canadian and  Dutch.

[…]

I’m trying to keep everythimg [sic] a secret until the film comes out. can you feel me? White lady from Canada and white lady from Amsterdam. It’s called a military thing. When the kids came home to America for a visit , it was a nightmare. we’re re-creating the scenes for the film. It’s going to be a mindblower, at least I hope the audience thinks so. There may be a Vietnamese child as well, but our family have no knowledge of where this child is or even if the child, now an adult is even alive. It’s called a military thing, again. I’d like to get funding to go over and look for this child and put this in the film, but that’s a pipe dream. Plus, I would need to confirm this with my relative to see if this story is indeed true. [Emphasis added.]

Canadian and Dutch!?!?! A “white lady from Canada and a white lady from Amsterdam”?

HOLY SHIT, I thought. And then I tried to set her straight:

Uh, “Canadian” and “Dutch” are terms that refer to nationality, not race.  When you present yourself, you’re going to have to be more specific about race identity. Most people would say,”Duh! The Canadians and the Dutch are predominantly Caucasian!”

But it was like talking to a brick wall.

Anyway, to make a long story short, here’s what I managed to glean from this thing:

• Brandy Priestess may be white. (See her reference above to having a “white lady from Canada and [a] white lady from Amsterdam” in her family.)
• Judging by her angst, her apparent persecution complex, and her stunted world view, I would say she is quite young.
• In view of her blatant ignorance (see aforementioned confusion regarding nationality and race) and her demonstrated lack of language skills, I would say she is under-educated.
• She’s a narcissistic nut and an asshole.
• If she’s hoping to make it as a filmmaker, she’s probably in for a big letdown. Wouldn’t a filmmaker have to have a rudimentary set of language skills?

And that’s about it.

Oh, and it was quite the exciting experience when I ran the spelling and grammar check on this post!
